Welcome Prof. Huiyan Li as a new ETC member! We are excited to welcome Prof. Huiyan Li as a new member of the Electrochemical Technology Center.
Dr. Khashayar Ghandi, an ETC chemist, has discovered that microwave radiation may disable the coronavirus at body temperature, offering a potential new treatment method. The study, published in Nature Scientific Reports, showed that microwaves can inactivate parts of the virus's spike protein. This could lead to new treatments and ways to create inactive virus for vaccines.
