Prof. Aicheng Chen at the University of Guelph is working on a $50,000 project to create ultra-thin, graphene-based coatings for face masks and PPE to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. This innovative coating aims to bind with and disinfect the virus, allowing for the reuse of protective equipment.
